3kick Studio
Located at the heart of Pasadena, 3kick Studio holds regular figure painting workshops (costume and nude) every Thursday, 1:30–5:30pm and 6:30–10:30pm. Art Box Studio in Upland, CA, offers a strong line up of workshops with nationally known artists/instructors. Holds regular painting workshops at the The American Jewish University’s campus (Mulholland Drive, Bel Air) as part of the Department of Continuing Education (DCE) program. Regular classes on Painting & Drawing (Friday am), Watercolor Painting (Tuesday am), and Right Brain Figure Drawing (Monday am). Register or request a catalog by calling DCE at (310) 440-1246.
California Art Institute
Located in Westlake Village, the California Art Institute offers many classes in drawing and painting, with regular instructors including Joe Cibere (watercolor), Steve Walters (watercolor) and Cathy Cadieux (portraits in oil/pastel). Doyon Studio and Gallery, Camarillo
Watercolor, water media, and a variety of different types of workshops are being taught in this spacious studio in Camarillo. Techniques, composition and presentation, as well as color and design, are just a few of the elements that make up these on-going classes.
Fine Artists Factory
Fine Artists Factory caters to artists' requirements for a productive working environment, and also serves as a venue to help them expose their work to buyers. Located in a 5,000-square-foot, multi-purpose facility in Pasadena, CA, in addition to workshops & seminars, FAF offers open studio space, figure drawing & painting sessions, a main gallery, workshop room rental, and more.
Gallery 825
Los Angeles Art Association/Gallery 825 offers art classes, open to all adults, 18 years and older. Currently offered are introductory classes to drawing, acrylic and watercolor. Valley Watercolor Society
Workshops are held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 9440 Balboa Blvd. Northridge, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
