So we reach November, and with it, nearly the end of a very active and productive year. Over the past months, the club has done so many things, from arranging shows to bringing inspiration to encouraging friendship between members. As the year closes, I would first like to thank the officers who carried so much of the burden of work that makes such things possible. Secondly, I would like to thank the membership, without which all efforts would be useless. Now, for both groups, I would like to ask you to consider how you can bring our success into the future.
Next month – December – we will elect our new officers. That means this month is nomination month. If you think you would like to participate more actively in the club, if you would like to be an officer, please do let us know. If you know someone who would make a great officer, please nominate them.
I have said that the club would be nothing without members, but now I will also say that the club will go nowhere without officers. We need your energy, your ideas, and your active participation to make this club the very best it can be. Maybe that officer we need is you.
