Rachel Weissberger
Rachel started painting in 1992 while her kids were attending art classes. This interest rapidly developed into a complete fascination with the art of drawing and painting. Her love for music has inspired her to paint musicians as well as singers and dancers. Most of the figures she paints are the creation of her imagination and the influence of her surroundings.
Sharon Weaver
Sharon Weaver has always been impressed by nature. “As a child, my memories of being ‘lost’ in the woods or playing by a stream are the impressions that sustain and inspire me now. When I paint, I am transformed into that little girl filled with wonder and respect for the natural world around me. Eventually my loves drew me to Los Angeles where I now live and paint full time.”

I began working with watercolor at the age of eight. I have done design, underground comics and both figurative and abstract sculpture. I am currently expressing myself primarily in watermedia. The work begins internally. I feel energy; a mood; grab my brushes and start. The painting grows. I work abstractly because that best expresses my emotions. My interest is in the expression of the internal.
I am dedicated to help endangered species by donating 15% of the profits I make on my artwork. This way I can give back to the planet and help care for the beautiful creatures that live here with us. My passion with art is to capture the soul of my creatures in their eyes and facial expressions.
A self-taught traditional artist, I rely on nature for inspiration. Wild animals are such a beautiful creation and I am dedicated to preserve them in my art. My subjects are usually in action rather than a stationary position such as horses running with wind in their manes or big cats on the prowl.
My philosophy is — life is getting short enjoy your passions!

Ken Fermoyle
My career as writer, editor, photographer spans 60+ years. Got my first camera at 11 & got my 1st newspaper job in Oct. 1952, started a career as a photojournalist in 1949, sold my first photo essay to a magazine in 1952. Computers entered my life in 1979 while supervisor of special projects in Hughes Aircraft Art Dept. My career seemed over during a period of legal blindness from 2003-05 (helped by an operation) but it raised my interest in digital abstracts - which, with photography, have been my focus in recent years. capulinstudio

With soft pastels, the luminosity and brilliance of this medium represents is what Meli Calkins see in the natural world. Her soft pastel paintings when viewed closely are impressionistic, but walking away from the painting, it becomes more realistic. Her work runs from landscapes and seascapes to still life and equine.

Jennifer Bentson My artistic life began out of necessity. During my high school and college days I wanted a camera but did not have the funds to buy one. I did, however, have the money for a box of watercolors. The box was a constant companion on backpacking trips, vacations, and colors for my homemade cards. Soon I felt very close to the colors coming out of my ferrule. The journey of the water on the paper was like a new world to me. I am lost in the moment when the flow of pigments meets the earthy paper.
