Sally Seago, has been the owner of Seago Gallery in Cambria, CA, for the past eleven years. Her selection of subjects is very broad and diverse, expressing her deep sensitivity to nature. Captivating dreamy interpretations of nature's beauty, Seago’s oil paintings are poetic in feeling. Her love of life is genuinely reflected in her art. Whether her themes are seascapes, flowering gardens, African wildlife, or angels they all share a characteristic vibrancy. Art critics have acclaimed gallery owner Sally Seago’s works “reminiscent of the 19th Century Romanticists.” Described as a Romantic Impressionist, Seago draws the viewer into her paintings, leaving the real world behind for a brief excursion into a gentler more peaceful setting.
Among numerous awards, Sally was honored as one of a select group of California artists who represented the state exhibiting in the nation’s Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.
Seago’s works hang in collections including those of Delta Airlines, U.S. Veteran’s Administration. Her paintings are also exhibited in collections in France and the United Kingdom, including a Maritime Museum in England.
A recognized artist and teacher of paintings for over 20 years, Sally believes anyone can paint as she has demonstrated on her cable television painting series.
