Milton Decker’s Student Art Show

On Saturday, January 8, 2018, an art show was held in the San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center for the NAMI/DBSA students of Milton Decker.  The names of the students are:  Julie Bustad, Renee Cooperman, Carly Chaikin, Heather Dean, Patti Hume, Wendy Kuderer, Edward Mabalot, Robert Newton, Jim Randall, Nancy Riley, Preet Sahni, Cindy Stairs, Dave Stairs and Mary Vargas.

Alisa Gabrielle gave a lively and entertaining demonstration when she showed us her methods for making “Psychic Sketches.”  She started with a mixed media print technique that began the drawing that developed into sketches filled with life with imagination – and by all the responses during her demonstration, it seems as though she brought out the imaginations of those who watched her work as well.  Thank you to Alisa for such a successful evening.
